October 7, 2023, left families and communities with a grief that cannot be contained in a headline. We started this project because remembrance is not a single day on a calendar; it is the slow, daily work of saying a name, telling a story, and keeping a life visible.
Our focus is deeply personal. Through quiet conversations and careful listening, we help shape tributes from what families want the world to know. We believe memory is a form of care, and that preserving someone’s story is a profound way to refuse erasure.

Connection begins quietly, often through a referral or introduction. There is no pressure, and there is no timetable but their own.
We meet to learn about a whole life: the milestones, the humor, the idiosyncrasies, and the bonds. Nothing is mined for spectacle; dignity comes first.
Photos, recordings, letters, and the small details families choose to share become the foundation of each tribute.
With patience and restraint, we shape narrative films intended to endure. Clear, humane, and faithful to the person they truly were.
Completed work joins a living archive, available to family and shared with the wider public mindfully and by agreement.

A clinical psychologist with 19 years of experience, Lihie created Bring Them Light from a deep moral call to transform grief into light and ensure every individual is remembered as a soul who lived, loved, and mattered.

Carrie helps shape the project with care, sensitivity, and a commitment to honouring each story with dignity. Her work supports the relationships and details that allow memory to be preserved with warmth and respect.
The light monument
Alongside the films and written tributes, Bring Them Light is building toward a quiet public memorial: a luminous installation where each light represents a name, a life, and a story preserved with care.
